I'm not going to lie , I love every holiday! Christmas is my favorite but I think Thanksgiving comes in tie for second! I think the reason why Thanksgiving is one of my favorites is because it is not about the gifts. It's all about giving thanks. Appreciating what you have and being surrounded by your family and friends. Here are 5 things that I love about Thanksgiving.I hope you enjoy and can relate! :)

1. It's an excuse to eat as much food as you want !

Thanksgiving is one of those holidays where everyone brings so much food, especially desserts! So Thanksgiving is just a day where you can have an excuses to eat as much food as possible and no-one will judge :)

2. The Macy's Day Parade!

When I think of Thanksgiving I think of making food and watching the parade. I love getting up every Thanksgiving morning and turning on the tv and watching the parade. Family traditions. For three years in a row I actually went to the parade and saw it in person. Amazing!

3. Thanksgivings Day Football Game!

In my home town and my family football on Thanksgiving is a tradition. My brother used to play in the Thanksgiving day games and other years we would go and just watch. We either went to the game or watched it on tv, but football is a part of the traditions !

4. Black Friday Shopping!

I think it was always so exciting having a fun filled day with my family being so stuffed with food, taking a nice nap and then getting ready to go shopping. The thrill was just so much fun! Nothing is better than a day of eating and then shopping!

5. Spending the day with my family!

Thanksgiving to me is just an excuse to get my whole family in the same room, enjoying everyones company and saying why you are thankful for them. The best day!
