Five Girls You Meet In Your Sorority

Five Girls You Meet In Your Sorority

No matter the letters, chapter size or location, every single sorority girl has five sisters that fit these roles.

Pep Talk Giver

This girl picks up any, and everyone, no matter the issue. When your test does not pan out as well as you hoped, this girl is there to offer a smile and a, "you'll get the next one." No matter the reason for your stress, everyone can depend on this girl to pick you up, dust you off, and send you out the door feeling like a solid 7.5 when you walked in at a minus three.

Mom

This girl can seem annoying, at times, but everyone knows that she is the girl everyone needs to keep their lives in order. She keeps you in check, makes sure you never fall behind in school, helps you stay away from the bad boys, and will always make sure you get home when you had one drink too many. If it was not for these ladies, let's be honest, we would probably all be walking train wrecks with a judicial record to match.

Know-It-All

Need to know what time the first bus leaves for the date party? Ask this girl. Want to know what's for lunch or need a late plate for dinner? Ask this girl. When are t-shirt orders due? Ask this girl. There is always that one girl who knows every single detail about everything, and she does not even have to. On more than one occasion, this girl has saved the lives of you and every single girl in your chapter.

Happiest Girl Ever

The sky could be falling out, but this girl never loses her smile. She loves life, everyone around her, and her organization no matter what may be going on. Sometimes, the amount of happy pouring out of this lovely lady leaves your head spinning, but most of the time it helps you get in a better mood and makes everyone's experience more enjoyable.

Craft Queen

You will envy her little's gifts, and the canvases she makes to hang in her room. She has the cutest ideas and manages to execute them perfectly. This girl could take two pieces of paper and a glue stick and manage to make something that would bring a tear to your eye. However, she is willing to share her knowledge and will gladly help everyone attempt to create a beautiful canvas, or three, for their littles.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
