Walking to class is rough, especially if the weather is sub par. However, the right music can improve your walk to class by a tremendously. I recommend listening to these Pandora stations to help you get through the week.
Monday: Have a case of the Mondays? Ready to go back to bed? When you feel like dragging your feet, listen to Jack Johnson's "Sitting, Waiting, Wishing." This station will play mellow beats with thoughtful lyrics. Many of the tracks played on this station will be mellow without being slow, making it perfect for your melancholy self.Other artists featured on this station: Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer.
Tuesday: Well you made it through one day. Your outlook should be a little brighter, but let's be honest. It is still not the weekend or even hump day for that matter. Put a little pep in your step with a station like, "Sugar" by Maroon 5. Other artists featured on this station: Train, Bruno Mars.
Wednesday: Guess what day it is? HUMP DAY! Celebrate the fact that you made it half way through the week. A milestone if you ask me. Opt for a station with a happy-go-lucky feeling. A frequented Wednesday choice of mine is "Hey Brother" by Avicii. Other artists featured on this station: Calvin Harris, Alesso.
Thursday: Basically the weekend, but you aren't quite done with your to-do list. No worries. For this fine weekday I'm going to suggest a throwback station for two reasons. The first and most obvious reason being for #tbt. The secondary reason being because hearing your old favorite jams will boost your mood. For your Thursday commute I would suggest the radio station "Ignition (Remix)" by R. Kelly. Other artist featured on the station: 50 Cent, Nelly.
Friday: Finally. Throw away your textbooks. (or at least imagine it) Let's get the party started with something that will help you channel your inner frat star. A carefully selected Pandora station will cause your entire presence to glow. If your music doesn't make you strut to class, it's all wrong. The list of Fridaymusic vibes could be miles long, but I've sorted through many and come up with two of the typical attitudes to inspire the choice of music. *Option 1 (A & B) :If you're feeling like you're on top of the world, stick with a classic station such as Beyonce & Shakira Radio or Kanye West if you're a little more hardcore. Other artists featured on this station: Enrique Iglesias, Pussycat Dolls/ Drake, Jay Z. *Option 2 If you're just ready to rage and forget about the score you just got on your economics exam, opt for the no nonsense beats that can be found on Pandora station "Runaway (U & I) by Galantis. Other artists featured on this station: Tiesto, Cash Cash.
No matter what day of the week it is, keep your chin up. Don't let exam scores or power hours get you down. You have as many hours in a day as Beyonce.
