It's that time of year again! Already around Lehigh University's campus I notice the leaves changing colors and the air getting cooler, so I thought I'd list some classic movies that capture Fall in all its glory. Grab a blanket, put on some fuzzy socks, and enjoy!
1. When Harry Met Sally
Arguably the best romantic comedy of all time, but that's beside the point. Who can forget the scene with the romantic stroll through the park? Plus Meg Ryan's hats and blazers scream Autumn.
2. Hocus Pocus
I'm sorry. I know it isn't even October yet, but this movie is iconic.
3. You've Got Mail
"Don't you just love New York in the Fall?" Tom Hanks asks. "It makes me want to buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address.” *Sigh*
4. Dead Poets Society
This film is full of autumn with the back to school vibes mixed with scenic shots of beautiful fall foliage.5. St. Elmo's Fire
Recent college graduates are trying to figure out how to live in the real world. The perfect movie to watch curled up in front of a fire with your friends.
