Five Cartoon Characters That Would Fit In At College
Buzzfeed, What Your Favorite ’90s Cartoon Characters Would Look Like In College

Cartoon characters have existed for a long time and ever since Mickey Mouse first made his debut, cartoon characters have made a profound impact on popular culture. They are enjoyed by not only children but also by teenagers and adults who have grown up watching shows such as South Park, The Simpsons, and Family Guy. Thus, it would be interesting to think of them as college students, especially since some of them would be fascinating if they existed in a college environment.

1.Bugs Bunny.

One cartoon character that would certainly fit in as a college student is none other than Bugs Bunny. After all, he is smart, witty, and quite a prankster. I myself could see him as the president of a vegetarian club and a regular stand-up performer. Think about it. All he does is eat carrots and make jokes about people. He is almost like Seinfeld if he were a rabbit.

2. Ash Ketchum.

Another cartoon character that would be superb college student is Ash Ketchum. He is adventurous, friendly, and high-energy, which would make him very popular. He would most likely be a Biology major who spends his free time playing Pokémon Go and going on outings with an adventure club...during which he would try to look for Pokémon.

3.The Powerpuff Girls.

Some other cartoon characters you could see on a college campus near you (after they grow up that is) are the Powerpuff Girls. With their bubbly personalities and go-getter natures, they would be an instant hit at college. Given their passion for fighting crime, it would be easy to see them as Criminal Justice majors. Plus, they would definitely be involved with a sorority due to the kind of personalities they have.

4.Goku.

Yet another cartoon character that would be excellent in a college environment would be Goku from Dragon Ball Z. He has a laid back nature, a strong sense of loyalty, and tons of dedication, which are all traits that would ensure that he has plenty of quality friendships at college. His major would most likely be Physical Therapy, you would always see him at the gym, and he could very well be a star player on the school football team.

5.Velma.

Last but not least, one cartoon character that would fit in at college is Velma from Scooby-Doo. She is studious, intelligent, and she reads a lot so while she might not have many friends, she would get along well with her professors. Since she is typically the one who solves the mysteries while occasionally having help from Fred and Daphne, she would easily excel in Forensic Science though she would also do well at any of the hard sciences such as Chemistry, Biology, or possibly even Physics.

Well, there you have it. Five cartoon characters that one could see at a college campus if they used their imagination. There are obviously other shoe ins, but those are the cartoon characters I could think of at the time. I don’t know about you, but I would certainly enjoy attending college with any of those cartoon characters. That would be a blast!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
