cedar point

Yesterday I went to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. Cedar Point is known to be one of the top amusement parks, they even have the number one coaster in the entire world. This is all great and exciting expect for the fact that I hate roller coasters. So for 10 hours straight, I watched my friends scream with fear and for joy as they rode some pretty insane looking coasters. In my opinion, as someone who did not ride a single roller coaster, these are by far the best.

1. Millennium Force

After careful consideration, I realized this is the roller coaster I would rather die than go on, so I've ranked it as number one. It goes up to 93 mph and there's an 80-degree drop. No thank you.

2. Valravn

This is Cedar Point's brand new roller coaster and because of that the line was two-hours long. Luckily, my friends decided that was too long of a wait. But I had a lot of fun watching people scream their heads off going 75 mph at a 90-degree drop.

3. Gatekeeper

Nope. Absolutely terrifying. My friends went on it three times in a row though so they must have thought it was pretty fun. This coaster apparently has the most track at any park so I guess that's kind of cool.

4. Top Thrill Dragster

This one is over before it really begins. It's only 17 seconds long but you go from 0 to 120 mph in less than four seconds, get shot 420 feet into the air and then somehow get off alive. Thankfully, this one was closed yesterday due to high winds.

5. Skyhawk

Surprisingly, my friends said that this one was the scariest. And, lucky for me, I got to stand pretty close and watch their terrified little faces screaming for dear life. It might have been their least favorite but it was definitely the most fun to watch.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
