Five Best Foods To Eat On Cold Days

Ever wondered what to eat on a cold day? Here are my thoughts on what to eat.

There have been numerous cold days that have occurred in Alabama since 2017 began, and I decided I would share some of the foods I think are the best to eat on cold, wintry days. These foods just warm you up inside and all around make the day a little bit better.

1. Chili

You can't go wrong with chili. This food warms you up and just makes you feel good. A warm bowl of chili is bound to make any cold day better.

2. Warm Cookies

These cookies you eat can't be cold. I am talking about melty, gooey, chocolate chip cookies that make you feel great. There is not much better than a warm cookie to make you feel splendid.

3. Soup

It doesn't matter what kind of soup you eat on a cold day, it will make you warm inside. Potato, tomato, chicken noodle-- all of these sound like a great soup to have on a cold day.

4. Mac and Cheese

This food is kind of unorthodox, but it will make you warm up nonetheless.

5. Hot Drinks

Although this is not a food, anything hot that you could drink will warm you up. Coffee, hot chocolate, or hot tea will definitely do the trick

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
