A Fitbit Relationship Told by Taylor Swift Lyrics

Those looking from the outside-in believe Fitbits are completely overrated. In all reality, they are not. Having a Fitbit is more than checking your steps, heart rate, time, and distance. It is more like a lifestyle.

If you own a Fitbit yourself, I guarantee you can relate to this article completely. You know what I am talking about... The relationship you form with your Fitbit. Your Fitbit turns into a part of you, and the relationship you form with it is unlike no other. It is an undeniable relationship that you create with your Fitbit that only Fitbiter's can understand.

It all begins with the initial questioning of if a Fitbit would be a good purchase in your life. Once you begin wearing it, you get used to its chunky look. Then you move into the complete and utter obsession you have towards it. Yes, we have all been there. But the only proper way to describe this relationship is with the one person who understand confusing and great moments in any sort of relationship: Taylor Swift. So let's combine the best thing that's ever happened to us and our favorite music artist to create a perfect description of our relationship with our Fitbits.

Questioning if you are going to like your Fitbit

Realizing your Fitbit was your best purchase ever

When you realize you are going to be obsessed with your new toy

When you hit your first 10,000 step ever

Feeling like you are the most fit person out there for reaching your step girls

When you add friends onto your Fitbit app

When you beat all of your friends Work Week Hustle

When your friends beat your Work Week Hustle

When your friends make fun of your obsession with your Fitbit

When you tap the screen, but it your step count doesn't appear

When you Fitbit dies halfway through the day

When you forget to put on your Fitbit

When you reunite with your Fitbit

Pretending you know what your heart rate means

Trying to explain your love about your Fitbit to non Fitbit users

When people don't understand why your Fitbit is your life

Pacing around your room just to get your step count up

Realizing your Fitbit has taken over your life

But realizing your Fitbit is the best thing that has ever happened to you

In conclusion, there are many different emotions you feel when you own a Fitbit. It is easy to feel this way when you wear your Fitbit every second a day. It becomes a part of you, and you build a deep relationship with it. If you do not have a Fitbit, I recommend that everyone who does not have one get one. I promise your life will change for the better.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Blair Waldorf
Stop Hollywood

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended. Blair never needed another person to define who she was and she certainly didn’t need a man to do that for her. When she envisioned a goal, she sought after it, and took it. This is why Blair’s demeanor encompasses strong women like her.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
