Being health-conscious is the trendy thing these days. It seems as though everywhere you turn there's a "light" option, vegetarian, gluten free, and even the calorie count to really remind you of all that you're eating. The new "it" thing is rocking a Fitbit on your wrist. If you don't have one, then you should seriously consider joining this exclusive community.

Before you buy your Fitbit, consider this:
Trendy: Featured in People Magazine as one of the top 10 things to try.

Products: Choose between dozens of different products.

Color: Mix and match to become your favorite accessory.

Designers: For those of you who prefer athletic-chic.


Setting up your Fitbit.

Fitbit App: download the app, and via Bluetooth you can check how many steps you've walked, calories you've burned, miles you've run, active minutes you've had, and more!

Logging your weight: Lie about your weight unless if you have a screen protector....

Food: Sync your calorie intake with the My Fitness Pal app in order to accurately measure your progress (Don't forget alcohol!).

Daily Activity: Set your daily steps goal based on this activity chart ... you can do better than 10,000.

Friends: add friends in order to keep each other in check.

Wake up: Check how your sleep was on your Fitbit App.

Necessity: You wouldn't leave the house without pants, so why would you leave the house without your Fitbit!?
