It's here, what you've been dreaming of all finals week, summer break! However, is it as great as you thought it would be? If you're anything like me, you've probably depended on Netflix for entertainment. Your friends that once were down the hall are now miles away. There are no more parties to go to. You don't have any homework, but you still may not have the social life you wanted. In times like these, only Michael Scott can truly convey the feelings brought on by these realities.

1. Saying your final goodbyes to your friends until September.

.

2. Rolling up to your hometown for the summer.

3. Reassuring your family that you’ve made good decisions while away.

4. But then you have to explain your grades.

5. Wanting to do nothing but sleep.

6. Because you’ve realized you have no idea what to do with the free time.

7. So you binge watch a lot of Netflix.

8. And listen to a lot of music, while pretending you’re at an actual party.

9. When you finally see your friends from home after several months.

10. But also the people you thought you’d never have to see again.

11. When you share stories about your semester.

12. And start to really miss your friends from school...so you must contact them.

13. And that the parties at home are nothing like the parties at school

14. Remembering there’s at least 3 more months of this...

15. At least we have warm weather and Netflix to keep us busy!

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
