My freshman year of college is coming to an end. I’ve also been watching an abnormal amount of New Girl recently. So, here is my first year of college as told by New Girl!

When you first get to college, you'll be more motivated than ever to succeed.

So. Many. Icebreakers.

Everyone wants you to sign up for every club on campus. Don’t do it.

Communal bathrooms are a whole new ball game.

There will be cute boys everywhere.

You’ll find friends that will change your life and you’ll wonder how you ever lived without them.

You’ll start to literally live for the weekend.

You’ll only drink the cheap stuff, and you’ll have to like it.

You will eat anything and everything.

Halloween is taken very, very seriously. Have at least 4 costumes prepared, and make them good.

You'll eat some more.

Sometimes you'll have to pump your squad up to get them to go out. It'll be worth it.

You'll probably meet someone that you start to fall for. Good luck.

You'll become lazier than ever.

Homesickness, Schoolwork, F*ck Boys, Exhaustion...sometimes college is hard.

There will probably be a few nights that end looking something like this.

You'll have some weeks that every teacher scheduled every test and made every assignment due.

By the end, you’ll be so broke and so tired of the dining halls that you’ll take every opportunity to eat out very seriously.

Even though freshman year is swamped with school work, responsibility, a crazy sleep schedule and regretful nights, it'll probably be one of the most memorable years of your life.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
