The first day of each class has a wide spectrum of how it can go; great, alright, horribly wrong, or not what you expected. After we've searched for all the professor ratings and reviews, we think we know who we are about to deal with. However, some things just aren't predictable and we can't always get what we want.
1. When your professor asks you to say a "fun fact" about yourself.
2. When your 8 a.m professor says participation counts.
3. "The lowest exam grade will be dropped at the end of the semester."
4. "Attendance is mandatory."
5. When everyone else seems to know one another except you.
6. When the professor says you have to buy the online access code in order to pass.
7. Being told to "be ready" because the final exam will be cumulative.
8. Thinking that taking an extra elective would be okay.
9. When the professor says there will be a group project... you're kidding, right?
