Every winter, we spend the whole start of the season waiting for that first, perfect snowstorm -- from that first spark of excitement, right to that utter disappointment of the cold. Check out these critical "Parks and Recreation" gifs that describe how we all feel about that first big snow of the season.

1. It starts out with the pure excitement that it’s finally going to snow.

2. You start to prepare by buying snacks

.

3. And planning how you're going to spend your snow day.

4. You pray that school and work are closed.

5. Then, you get the call that you're off the hook from responsibilities.

6. And you're waiting for the first flake to fall.

7. When it does, you stare in awe.

8. You get more excited with each bit that starts to accumulate.

9. Until it begins to pound down in a storm.

10. You realize how bad this might be.

11. But you still don't care because you're warm inside -- for now.

12. So you enjoy yourself and binge watch Netflix.

13. Then, eventually, you find yourself bored of being stuck inside.

14. You remember why being snowed in sucks.

15. But you also remember you're still responsibility free, so it's all good.

16. Finally, the next morning hits, and you're excited to spend another day inside.

17. Except there's over a foot of snow on the ground.

18. And you have to shovel it all out.

19. So, reluctantly, you clean your car and the driveway.

20. You freeze in the process.

21. You definitely slip and fall at least once.

22. And you remember how much you actually hate the snow.

23. You spend the rest of the winter wishing for summer because winter sucks.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
