As first semester nears its end, and Thanksgiving break cannot come soon enough, students begin to lose their minds and come apart at the seams.
Finals week approaches too quickly, following many weeks of hell packed with exams, big projects, and final papers. On top of that, students actually start to realize that the year is almost halfway over and, yet, all of their plans to make this year different are still just that - plans. As all of this piles up, there is no better way to describe the thoughts of students than through "The Office." Here are 15 moments from "The Office" that accurately describe how students are feeling right now:
1. You are so broke, but you can't help spending money on things you don't need because it makes you happy in the moment
2. Your family wants to take a cute picture for your Christmas card but smiling sickens you
3. You have so few things to look forward to, that you start to make things up
4. People try to make jokes to cheer you up, but you are too upset to laugh
5. You finally decide to go out one night, and you are planning to forget everything
6. You run out of money because you buy ice cream every night to cope
7. But, the ice cream was definitely worth it
8. You have to start applying for internships and jobs, but you have absolutely no idea what you want to do with your life
9. You feel like everyone else is excelling while you struggle like no other
10. Everything is falling apart, despite your desperate attempts to hold it together
11. You are trying to make your final presentations, but your eyes can no longer handle staring at your computer screen
12. You suddenly realize everything is due tomorrow and you have no time left to procrastinate
13. You tell yourself you've got this, but know it's a lie
14. You accept your inevitable fate, and just wait for break to finally start
15. After a long semester of misery, you finally get to go home and see your family and friends and everything is okay again
