It's almost that time of year again... FESTIVAL SEASON!

I believe that festivals are a place to be free-spirited, hang loose, and enjoy time with the people you love. They're different from just your regular concert because they have so much more to offer. FireFly Music Festival is the only festival I have been to, but it was an experience I will never forget. "Camping out for four days?! Ew dirty." I won't lie, there will probably be times where you crave a nice hot shower because you can feel the lining of dirt you have on your skin, but hey that's part of the experience right?

Firefly gives you the Woodstock hippy festival feel. "The Woodlands" as they call it, is a large, open wooded area used to set up all the stages, food stands, and activities that make the experience all that better. One of the things that makes Firefly truly unique is how the festival was first created. Firefly wasn't created by a huge music company that had all the money in the world to dump into it. It was upheld by a group of people who challenged themselves, had no background experience in festivals, and who wanted to make an atmosphere for people to come together and enjoy some good vibes and good music.

If you are really thinking about attending Firefly, do yourself a favor and make sure you try the bomb food the festival has to offer because it most definitely part of the experience. It may be my favorite part of it. You will want to fuel yourself with some good food after jamming out to your favorite artists, and Firefly has many different options and must try munchies that you will not want to miss. Whether you're a major foodie, or just looking to take some pictures for your Instagram, it will make your taste buds go on a rollercoaster of flavors.

One of the major reasons why people go to festivals is because of the community of people that come together. The spirit behind a festival is really important to people. They wanna feel escaped from reality and placed into an atmosphere where they can let loose completely. I think this is one of the many beautiful things that can come out of attending a music festival aside from all the amazing music you will be experiencing. While I was at Firefly, I really tried to take in my surroundings. The twinkling lights, vibrant colors, people dancing, people laughing, and the trees that surrounded filled my soul up with pure happiness. I began to let go of the unnecessary stressors that filled my mind and was truly present during my time at the festival.

Firefly Festival was an experience that I will never forget and that I'm eagerly awaiting to come around again this year. Something about the atmosphere gives me a sense of freedom and true happiness that lights my soul on fire. So gather up all your friends and get ready for a weekend filled of high energy, positive vibes, banging food, and music that will make you dance your heart out.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
