Virginia is for lovers - and I'm 99.9% positive that saying was actually supposed to say Virginia is for food lovers. Whether you are in the mood for Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Thai, American or all of the above, Virginia is definitely the place for you. More specifically, Chesterfield, VA is the town for you. A lot of people who live in Chesterfield complain there isn't much to do, but if there is one thing to do in Virginia - it's eating. There are so many delicious places to eat that everyone in Chesterfield, Virginia absolutely needs to check out.

1. Vinny's Italian Grill

When you're in the mood for some Italian cuisine, Vinny's is definitely the restaurant for you. They have friendly waitstaff, delicious food, and the best ranch in the world (literally, I could drink bottles of the stuff).

Where To Find: 6737 Lake Harbour Drive, Midlothian, VA 23112

2. Zheng Garden

For a change of tastebuds and some of the best Chinese food around, Zheng Garden is the restaurant for you. There is a sign in front of the restaurant that says it is the best tasting Chinese food, and it is definitely not a lie.

Where To Find: Woodlake Commons Shopping Center, 6928 Woodlake Commons Loop, Midlothian, VA 23112

3. Three Guys Pizza Pies

While Vinny's is a pretty hard restaurant to beat, Three Guys gets pretty close. Or, debatably, is even tastier. They have the best calzones in town and have specials every night that you definitely won't want to miss. Some days they have free drinks, some days calzones and strombolis are cheaper, and so many other deals. There's a new one everyday.

Where To Find: 7016 Woodlake Commons Loop, Midlothian, VA 23112

4. Rico's Mexican Restaurant

Normally, I'm not a big fan of Mexican food and spicy stuff, but I find Rico's to actually be pretty delicious - so, that is saying a lot about the restaurant. If you're going to eat Mexican, this is definitely the place for you to go.

Where To Find: Harbor Point Village, 13728 Hull Street Rd, Midlothian, VA 23112

5. Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel has "it's so good it'll make you wanna slap your mama" kind of food. While there are dozens and dozens of Cracker Barrels nationwide, this food definitely helps brighten up the selection of cuisine's in Chesterfield.

Where To Find: 4720 Craig Rath Blvd, Midlothian, VA 23112

While this is just a handful of the wonderful restaurants you can find all around Chesterfield, Virginia, you can already tell we know how to eat around here. Virginias takes their food and their meals very seriously, we don't joke around when it comes to the important things - eating.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs.
