Every single person travels a different life journey. No two paths are the same, and neither are the destinations. However, at the end of the day, we are all just trying to make it through. Regardless of where you started, or where you intend to end up, everyone will likely face challenges that make them question if they're on the right road.
Life is a road with street lamps that are on half the time and off the other. One second you can see the path ahead of you in clarity and can easily proceed on the route. You know what direction you're going, and you can even enjoy the ride. Then in the blink of an eye, the lamps are off and you are unable to see the road to your future. You feel stranded in the dark, and feel less optimistic of the journey that once seemed so promising. You may trip over obstacles, you may have to catch your breath, and you may have to make a conscious effort to keep putting one foot in front of the other. However, please remember that the lamps will turn back on, and that what you face in the dark, is what builds up your endurance so that you may take full advantage of the light.
Here's what I want you to realize. Whether the lights are on or off, the road remains the same. This life wasn't made to be easy, and would it really be worth it if you didn't have to work for it? If you didn't have to put in the miles? If someone else navigated every step that you took along the way? It's going to be hard, and at times dark, but choose to look on the bright side. If the sky is the limit, once you reach that destination, not only will the street lamps be a source of light, but so will the sun.
