Finding Your Divine Purpose In A Chaotic World

Don't lose sight of what's really important in this life.

Finding Your Divine Purpose In A Chaotic World
Ryan Hall

You there, reading this article - you are extremely valued. You are unmistakably a child of God. And you are going to change the world.

Ask yourself- Am I living the life that I want to live?

Whether you are 16, 25, or 85 years old and choose to believe it, you have a God-given purpose in this life.

I feel that there is a lot to be said for the fact that we are all no doubt made by design. There are about seven and a half billion people in the world (and growing), with every person unique in their own way. And you are one of them. No matter what point you are at in your walk of life and faith, you can bring something extraordinary to the table that no one else can. Your purpose instilled in you is one that is going to remarkably change someone else's life.

However, as true as all of that is, the world is quite crooked. You do not have to search very far- the news, the media, and negative people everywhere highly saturate our spheres of influence with dark opinions. It is so easy- almost too easy- to get caught up in that mess.

But do not lose hope. It is up to you and I to make the change in our generation.

All it takes is one kind soul, one kind act, or one kind gesture to start a snowball effect that could make the difference.

When you feel tired and worn out by your surroundings, it is so easy to lose sight of what's really important. Never give up on yourself or what you believe is right.

So how do you fulfill the divine purpose God has in store for you in your future in the middle of such a cynical world?

At this time right now in our lives, we must always keep in mind the future God has in store for us and the life He wants us to live. The enemy will steal, kill, destroy, and trick us into thinking something incorrect about where we are going. You, reading this article- you cannot even conceive the prosperous future and purpose that is already planned out for you ahead.

You must have hope for the best which is yet to come. Do not dwell in the now, for God is sending you the biggest and best plan in the near future. If you are in a rough patch or are going through a struggle, do not lose ambition to live the life you want to live. It will get better. On the other side, you will no doubt come out stronger and more passionate than ever before. It might be hard to see, but you must believe in your purposeful future.

1 Corinthians 2:9 states: "But as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him"...

As people, we have to understand that once we start living for (and putting) others first, everything we will ever need will fall into place. You have no idea what those individuals in your sphere of influence are going through at the moment. Simply just saying "hello" to them in passing could do more than just make that person's day. Be the one who starts a "movement" in your environment that spreads joy like a wildfire. Never be afraid to stand up for what is right around you.

"The two most important days of your life are the day you were born, and the day you find out why." -Mark Twain

Even if you do not realize it yet, you are one of a kind, no matter what people say. You have a distinct purpose on this Earth that you are going to use to change the worlds of those around you. Reflect on your passions and look for ways in which you can use them to intentionally impact the lives of others.

What is your divine purpose?

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
