If you're like me, you probably just graduated college. You're struggling to find a full-time job that will cover all your daily expenses. I get it, it's hard to find a job.
In this day and age, you're applying online instead of going in person and seeing if a company is hiring. This makes it extremely easy for those companies to just not contact you after submitting your resume.
I applied to over 50 jobs and heard back from maybe seven. Of those seven, I had three interviews. Luckily, I found a job I like, but it took over two months for me to get there.
So, if you're struggling to find a job or haven't heard back from companies you've applied for, here's my advice.
Keep applying elsewhere. Applying never hurt anyone. If you're really hung up on a job, contact someone at the business. Let them know you're still interested. It might set you apart from everyone else.
If your friends work somewhere you might be interested in, ask them for some help. It's nothing to be ashamed of. We're all trying to "make it big," and you have to ask for some help now and then.
Hell, ask your parents for help if you need to. Ask professors. Just ask someone. You'll find something.
