1. In 2003, Finding Nemo made its debut. That means us loyal Nemo fans have been waiting 13 year for this highly anticipated sequel. (That’s longer than that time Sirius Black was in Azkaban). If you’re going to see "Finding Dory," you have the right to be overly excited. You’ve done your waiting.
2. If you’re reading this article, there is a great possibility that you are over the age of 12, so you might find yourself feeling a bit out of place in a theatre full of kids. But feel no shame; you experienced the legacy of "Finding Nemo" first. No kid born in 2003 or later can claim to have seen it before you. You deserve this. It's yours.
3. Since you’re in a theatre full of kids (and honestly, probably more millennials than you expected), you’re going to have to deal with a lot of annoyances. That includes children laughing for minutes after the joke is over, millennials discussing how “the animation is good, but it could never be up to par with the original,” teens laughing at dirty jokes and parents trying to shush their kids so they can finally have a moment to relax. My condolences.
4.If you are fortunate enough to be near a child, cover their eyes for the mother of all inkings.
5. The short film that happens before the movie is so adorable I almost cried.
6. But most of all, get ready to go on an epic journey through undertows, whale-speak and memories on a riveting new adventure that empowers the soul and proves that no matter who you are or where you’ve come from, you can do anything. "Finding Nemo" is about finding a lost son and saving a broken relationship; "Finding Dory" is about finding yourself and trusting in who you are (all while shedding light on disabilities and how someone with a disability is just as able as anyone else).
