I promise you, it's not permanent.

Balance is hard to find which is why it is important to talk to yourself and stay focused. Do not be so hard on yourself, take a breath, and really think about things before committing to them. While it is good to be busy and get involved in a multitude of things, it is not fun to feel like you have no time for yourself or the people that mean the most to you.

If you're anything like me, you tend to stress out a lot, but stress is not your friend. There is no reason to take out your aggravation, stress, or frustration on yourself or anyone else. Instead, turn your worries into focus and use it to motivate you.

1. Make a list.

Glenn Carstens-Peters

Lists will be your best friend through all of this. Plan out your day, but remember to save time for yourself because the lack of self-love is what got you into this mess anyway.

2. Find a friend.

Alexis Brown

Find your person who loves to be as busy as you. Talk about your day, and find new ways to stay organized and be efficient.

3. Take a break.

Hanny Naibaho

Watch a show on Netflix or grab a coffee and treat yourself. Use this time to get away from everything and truly take care of yourself.

4. Prioritize.

Jeff Sheldon

Do you really need to be worried about a book report that is due in four weeks? Can you find someone to cover that shift you have been stressed about? Being able to prioritize the twenty things going on in your head will make this a breeze.

5. Remember, it's temporary.

Jiyeon Park

I have to remind myself of this fact often. All of this stress and these worries will be gone in no time at all.

6. Everything will get done.

Brooke Cagle

Eventually, this will pass and everything will be done. You'll look back on all of this thinking about how silly you probably looked because you were so worried about nothing.

Instead of joining a new club that meets in the three-hour break you have before class and after work, save that time for yourself. Having dedicated time to do whatever you need to do or to do absolutely nothing at all is life changing — I promise you.

Give yourself a pep talk and a pat on the back! Finding a balance and still getting to do all of the things you love to do is hard work. You are amazing, and not a lot of people can do what you are doing. Stay strong, stay focused, and love yourself!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
