The most wonderful time of year is upon us once again. Of course I'm talking about finals week, and by wonderful, I meant soul crushingly depressing. The emotions that come along with finals week can be equated to a roller-coaster. We go from feeling like we are on top of the world as we are getting ready to complete another semester, to feeling near death caused by the lack of sleep, nutrition, and a setting that is something besides the library. The beginning of the week when you feel like the end of this semester will be your best one yet.

A few hours into studying when you realize you actually did not learn anything this semester....

When you call your mom just to tell her you're dying and she tries to give you a sub-par pep talk.

And you want to tell her that your career as a stripper is looking pretty bright.

Researching "how to find a sugar daddy" because this whole studying thing is not working.

Having your first mental breakdown

7. And then your second....

Then your third..... and the cycle just keeps going.

When you're trying to convince the smart kid to turn you into a genius overnight.

Looking at the freshmen who thought college was all fun and games, partake in mental breakdowns as well.

When you've just got through your third night without any sleep and caffeine is life.

When you and your friends decide to do a study group, but it just turns into a group panic attack.

When you're spending all your time studying, but your roommate has decided to turn to partying to cope with all the feels of finals.

When you just begin to question your entire existence....

Apologizing to everyone you've been snapping on thanks to all the stress.

When you flip your first final over, and realize nothing makes sense

When your professor tells you good luck as they hand you the test

Walking out the door AFTER YOUR LAST FINAL

But you look at your grades and realized the class you thought you made an A in, was actually a C....

So, for this finals week, tap into your inner Braverman and kill it!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
