Hi friends!
Finals are coming up really soon and it's about time that we start gearing up. With that in mind, let's take a moment to make a list of all of the things that you absolutely need to make it through the week without crying on the floor for hours at a time.
1. Coffee. The smell alone can pull you out of that familiar study induced coma.
2. Sticky notes. It's the worst feeling when you are already stressed out about tests and then you forget to go to that meeting with your adviser that he told you he wouldn't reschedule. So put sticky notes EVERYWHERE to make sure you don't miss a beat.
3. Snacks. Duh, no explanation needed here. Stock up on every kind of snack like Doritos all the way to Ferrero Rocher chocolates.
4. Headphones. Sometimes you need to drown out all of the things going on around you, or even merely stay awake. Throw on some jams and power through.
5. A special study spot. The best way to get through studying is to do it your way! If quiet spaces aren't for you, go sit in the sun on the Quad. Wherever it may be, find it and squander its riches.
6. Rest. Truly one of the most important things during finals week is rest. If you aren't taking care of yourself, who is gonna take care of your GPA?
7. A Friend. Whether they are there to hold your hand or high five you when you finally finish that paper, a friend can be the one thing to look forward to in the day.
8. Water - Please remember to stay hydrated. The last thing you want is to be passed out from dehydration on your notes!![](data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http://www.w3.org/2000/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%20980%20598'%3E%3C/svg%3E)
9. Netflix. It is hard to make it through a regular week without a good Netflix session, so it is expected that in times like this, the need is heightened.
10. Wall Callander. So you can mark off every single day as it passes to visualize just how close you are to the sweet finish line!
And there you have it! Your official list of things that you will need to make it through your finals week. Start preparing now and tackle this last leg of school with the same force of the Oklahoma winds.
