Well, it is that time of year again. It’s finals week! It is the most stressful week that any college student could ever have. All the constant late-night studying and making sure that our GPA is up is all so that we can pass this semester before summer starts. Always checking D2L every 30 minutes to see if any of our teachers put in new grades. Checking your email constantly to see if your professors have emailed you to see if you have to take their final exam, hoping you do not. It is like you have 20 million things to do in just one week. Why does finals week have to be stressful?

1. That library research paper your English professor gives you that’s due a week before finals which puts lots of stress on us? I mean, don’t they realize that is lot of pressure us already?

2. When professors are still giving you assignments that are due before finals even start. I mean come on, really?!

3. When you find out that the final exam is cumulative.

4. When you find out there is no study guide for the final exam.

5. Before finals start, you need to have that extra moral support from your roommate because they need it too.

6. You are in the library all day before you have that big biology exam the next day, which causes you so much stress because you haven’t done well in the class the whole semester.

7. All you want to do is sleep but you can’t because of all the studying you have to do.

8. You have been eating healthy and exercising this semester to be in shape for this summer, but finals week cuts that out because all you eat is junk food because you're stressing out so much

9. You are praying that when you take that biology exam that your GPA does not drop because, I mean, who can afford that?

10. When you have one final exam the first day of finals week and then another one the very last day of finals week.

So we all have at least one of these in common. Finals is so much that we have to think about and concentrate on to the tee. Whatever you guys do, I hope that you guys have a great finals week and good luck on everything!

I thought senioritis in high school was rough until I became a college senior about to go into the real world. I'm supposed to have everything figured out, right? I mean I went through four years of tough classes and serious self-searching (and crying). What I found overall was Senioritis sneaking up on me.

College is filled with many things, and we're so often lectured to make the right decisions as we head out on our own into the college life. But sometimes it's necessary to indulge in some guilty pleasures as well as just doing things because you can. And honestly, a lot of the time it's inevitable. College is no piece of cake that's for sure, so it's okay to do some things you deep down know you shouldn't....once in a while anyways.
