8 Phases Of Finals Week As Told By 'Parks And Rec'

It's that crazy time of the (school) year. Everyone has made lasting fun memories during the spring break and have returned back to the campuses fully tanned and not well-rested. Unfortunately, the happy bubble of vacations and sleeping until noon is popped by the next few weeks that will eventually end in finals.

So, with the help of some Parks and Recs gifs, here are the 8 stages of prepping for Finals Week

1. Relaxation based on delusions.

It's easy to tell yourself you still have five more weeks until you actually have to start worrying about exams but before you know it, those weeks can quickly turn into four, then three until the next thing you know it's a week away from Finals and you have gotten nothing done. But don't fret, everyone's been there which means you can easily rely on friends to help with last minute cramming.

2. Having no motivation to study.

Unfortunately, people don't seem to understand that you can physically be unable to have motivation to study and so they just say you're being lazy. It's a real thing people!

3. Going to tutoring...

4. ...Even though you know you don't process anything.

5. Failing at group studying because someone is always goofing off.

Sometimes you're Chris and sometimes you're Andy. Whichever one you are, don't forget that it is possible to have fun in group study sessions, as long as you remember to keep each other focused and on task.

6. Having a panic attack during the exam...

7. ...Then just not caring after the exam.

At this point, stress is a waste of energy and time. Once the test is turned in, that's it. Worrying won't change your answers so don't even bother.

8. Living life afterwards.

However your exams go this final season, just remember a paper test does not define you as a person. College (and just school in general) is really freaking hard, and you should be proud you've made it this far. So keep doing you and just remember that your hard work will pay off with a fun future!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
