There is a time in every student's life when he or she has a week or two of pure hell. You, as a student, know exactly what I am talking about. Finals week is full of late nights in the library, occasional mental breakdowns at 1 a.m., Cookout runs, triple shot espresso lattes until you're delirious and at your point of exhaustion.

There are a few moments in particular of this dreaded time that could not be more accurately portrayed than by one of the most charismatic characters on television, Michael Christopher Kelso.

Studying.

Midnight rolls around the night before your exam. You're in the library reading through your notes and realize that you are no where near ready for your exam.

Refusing to go to sleep until you know all the information, you make the not so smart decision to stay up all night.

You are no longer comprehending information, and it seems like there's no hope for you to learn all the material in the next four hours. So, instead of wasting the rest of your night, you decide to go to sleep.

In the same clothes as yesterday, you walk into your exam looking like death is around the corner.

Don't forget the huge bags underneath your eyes, greasy hair and RBF you're giving everyone as you walk past.

You walk out of your exam and realize that you haven't eaten in over 12 hours.

Now that you're physically and mentally drained after profusely studying for an exam you failed, you need to refuel.

As you walk into the cafeteria, you see the squad eating lunch.

You smile as you walk over to their table, and then they ask you how you're doing. You respond by telling them how awful your morning was.

One of your friends makes a joke after you enlighten them of your past 12 hours.

Friend: "Hey, you couldn't have done THAT badly"

You: "Yeahhh..."

But they continue to remind you that you probably bombed the exam.

At this point, you're running on three hours of sleep and you're a bit irritable. Without any regard to anyone else's feelings, you burst.

Then they remind you how awesome you are and how you and your GPA will survive.

Even though they joke around, you can always count on your friends to lift you up in your time of need.

If you're stressing out about your exams, papers and projects, don't worry! You have a support team going through the same thing that you are. Make sure to get some sleep, and eat well. If that's not enough, you know that there's a Starbucks nearby calling your name. Enjoy your last week of the semester, because when you're on break you are going to miss everyone.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
