Feelings During Finals Week According To Inside Out

It may only be five emotions, but boy do they say a lot?

Finals have come upon us yet again. Every year we all say that we aren't going to put everything off until last minute, but we all know we spend the week and a half of finals cooped up in the library from open to close and anywhere else that there is wifi- that isn't our beds. Here are the five feelings that we all go through according to the characters of "Inside Out".

1. Sadness

The horrible feeling of knowing that there is no way around studying for finals. You procrastinated way too much, even though you promised yourself last semester that you weren't going to do that again. It is also the feeling of knowing that you will have to spend the next ten days doing nothing you enjoy.

2. Fear

Well, this one is kind of a given. You are afraid that you are going to fail the final or the class in general. He is the reason all of us stay up late at night trying to cram us much into our brains as possible. If there is one thing that we can thank him for is helping us get a better grade.

3. Disgust

The feeling we all know too well. Whether it's from not showering for a couple of days, the amount of junk food you've eaten, or your personal feelings towards the finals you are studying for. Disgust will keep you on your toes about everything.

4. Anger

When you get absolutely fed up with everything that is going on, it's because of this lovely one. It happens to the best of us. With the lack of sleep and lack of food, we are like a ticking time bomb. You know that feeling when you just cannot stand to do one more index card, when you just want to throw them all the way to the other side of the room, that my friend is anger taking over.

5. Joy

The feeling when it is finally over. You can finally thing about yourself again without having to think about when your next meal will be. It is also the feeling you have when you get the notification that you passed not only the final, but the class. It is the single best feeling that means you are free for a couple of weeks to just enjoy you.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
