The end of Thanksgiving break should mean the start of the Christmas season filled with festivities and fun, but for us college students it also means the start of finals. During finals we trade in jingle bells and hot chocolate for pencils and flash cards. I know I would rather be baking cookies, drinking cocoa and snuggling up by a nice warm fire. Who better to describe the struggles of finals week than the Grinch?
Your professors start talking about finals and the end of the semester.
When it finally hits you; finals are just around the corner.
You have a sudden stroke of determination and believe you can do anything.
Then you realize you've skipped so many classes and are way behind in the material.
When you're friends try and get you to attend study hours.
You find yourself doing anything to avoid studying.
When you drown your sorrows in chocolate and early Christmas cookies.
Finally you give up halfway through the test.
Time to enjoy the holiday; finals are over!
Just hang in there because once you're done hitting the books you can deck the halls and have a holly jolly Grinch free Christmas!
