Finals week. What did we do to deserve this? Most of actually pay for this torture. It may only bee a week but it feels like an eternity. It is a time of struggle and confusion. We dread it all semester and hate ourselves for not preparing earlier, but hey we were busy. Here are a few times that "Parks and Rec" perfectly described how we feel during finals week.

When the stress eating sets in.

Did you say sugar? Did you say caffeine? Did you say carbs? Give us some brain food. We need that extra push to keep us going. Sometimes food is the only thing motivating us to read five more pages or learn ten more problems.

When the professor has no chill.

Give us a break. We are tired. Aren't you tired? We get it that this is the most important class we will ever take, or at least that is what you want us to think, but sometimes you all need to chill out.

Seeing all your hopes and dreams burst.

A career? Grad school? A salary? It all seems so far away and impossible at this moment. We see our hopes and aspirations being popped like a bubble and we feel pretty helpless about it.

When you get a grade higher than expected.

This rarely happens, but when it does we are so forever thankful. We probably don't deserve it but we will take it anyways.

When you turn over the first page of the exam.

What? Huh? Is this English? Am I in the right room?

Trying to sound confident to other people.

Me? Nervous? Never. I have everything under control because I want you to be impressed by me and I want you to be stressed out and not me so I am going to act like I know what is going on and like I have no worries in the world.

When there is information on the test that you've never heard of in class.

Okay, not to be picky but I have never seen or heard of this information in this class the whole semester. We have never talked about this! Why did you decide to put this on the exam?

When you say that these exams are the worst things that have ever happened to you.

I will complain way too much. I might actually spend more time complaining than studying, but I have to do it so just listen and act sympathetic.

Hearing the professor talk about what you should have already known by now.

I don't know what you are referring to. You taught us that like three months ago and I have slept since then. I am never where you think I should be but I'll try anyways.

When your friend says they don't need to study.

Listen, yes you do. Okay so maybe not every class, but you never know when that teacher will throw you a curve ball.

When your professor asks you if you're ready.

I don't want to set the bar too high. So I am going to say No, but lets you and me both hope that I can pull this off.

When the person with all of the resources shows up to the study group.

There's always that one person who actually takes notes the entire semester and you know you're going to catch up with them the day before.

Realizing that working hard will pay off some day.

You realize that you're going to study and do your best so that someday you can actually have a life.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
