As week and finals are quickly approaching so are the late nights and coffee for a meal days. It is so easy during this time to become stressed and to let our sleep, health, and grades take a turn for the worst. I want you all to know that these next few weeks have the potential to be the most stressful of your life but they don’t have to be. You can make them better and I hope that I can encourage you to keep your focus on Christ during these last weeks of the semester.
When you feel in the next couple of weeks that college has gotten the best of you and the negative thoughts begin to creep in, remember this: YOU ARE MORE.
YOU ARE MORE than a test grade. YOU ARE MORE than your final grades. YOU ARE MORE than being stressed. YOU ARE MORE than anxiety. YOU ARE MORE than your appearance. YOU ARE MORE than what people think of you. YOU ARE MORE than the energy you have or don’t have from coffee. YOU ARE MORE than your degree. YOU ARE MORE. YOU ARE MORE.
YOU ARE a child of God. God’s love for you in not based on what grade you make or what others think of you or what your major is. No matter where you fall in any of these categories God still looks on you with love. Remember that YOU ARE ENOUGH even if you don’t feel like it or your grades don’t look the best. God has blessed you and will continue to bless you even if you fail a test or dress like a hobo in these last weeks. Try your best and give the rest to Christ. So, sleep and eat real meals because you are a child of God and you can find peace in that. Take a deep breath and know IT’S GOING TO BE OKAY.
