It's that time of year again. It only comes twice every calendar year. The week that every college student dreads -- finals. It is nearly impossible for a student to say sane during finals week, no matter how hard you worked during the semester. Students walk around like zombies, their blood full of coffee, hair a mess, and zero cares as to how they look. There is no one better to sum up the feelings we all have during finals, than Leslie Knope herself.
Studying looks a lot like this.
Trying to plan and get all your thoughts together in one general area while studying is the hardest thing you'll ever have to do.
You try to teach yourself last minute concepts that made no sense during the semester.
There are always those parts of the semester that made no sense and finals week seems to be the best time to teach yourself -- or so you think.
You've stared at the computer and 400-page textbook so long that you say this great Leslie Knope quote.
Your head is throbbing, you're hungry, your legs are cramping from sitting too long, and everything else seems to be wrong as well.
The only way to keep yourself from going off of the deep end is by dancing with your friends.
Let's be honest, when the lack of sleep kicks in, dancing in public is not embarrassing because you know it's good for your health at this point.
Halfway through the week you crash and get a lot of sleep.
Your body cannot take one more sleepless night, so you fall asleep for a long time -- which is only seven hours.
You're so stressed all week that someone asks you a simple question and you lose it.
There is an extreme amount of things running through your head that the thought of one more little question will send you into crazy mode.
You actually look like a complete wreck by your last final.
But you don't care.
Once finals week is over, you feel exactly like this.
You've made it through one of the worst weeks of college, and you made it out alive!
