It's our favorite time of the year! The snow is falling, the air is crisp, and exams are finally here! Yay. In order to survive finals, most college students resort to hardcore levels of procrasination (or, as my roomate calls it, incubating) tears, and junk food binges. Here are 13 dogs who identify with your struggles:

1. When you have four exams to study for and three essays to write and decide now's a great time to take a nap:

2. When your teacher asks if everyone is prepared for the final and understands the material:

Me every philosophy class.

3. When you're watching Netflix in peace and suddenly remember that you have less than a week to get your life in order and raise your grades:

4. Your face when you drink your seventh cup of coffee in an attempt to stay awake at 2 a.m:

5. When you feel like it's impossible to stay afloat and ahead of all your assignments, but you try your best:

7. When your engineering friend (you know who you are) says that problem sets are more difficult than essays:

You try writing 10 pages in a foreign language and then get back to me.

8. When you and your roommates sit at the kitchen table together and start laughing because YOU HAVE SO MUCH TO DO AND SOMEHOW IT'S SO FUNNY HOW YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET IT DONE AND YOU'RE DOOMED.

9. When you and all your classmates decide to wait till the last possible day to go to your teacher's office hours and then it's just a mob of people:

To be honest, those puppers look like they have their life more put together than college students do.

10. When you go to the library and see that your entire school decided to show up there too:

Um, do I know you guys?

11. When your friend edits your essay for you:

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! HOW CAN I EVERY REPAY YOU I LOVE YOU!!

12. When you and friend start gossiping instead of doing work (me right now)

Guess which one's me???

13. When you finally finish all your exams and can give up in peace and ignore your results:

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter
morethanwheels

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
