Finals are just around the corner since Thanksgiving break is coming to a close. From last minute papers, to all night study sessions in the library; it looks like this next few weeks are going to be anything but fun. I wonder how they would handle finals week in Stars Hollow?

1. Caffeine please!

Caffeine becomes your best friend once you enter college. And trust me you will need it for those late night study sessions and that last minute research paper you have due.

2. Tolerance for stupid questions are at an all time low.

During these weeks you don't have time for brainless questions. Sure you would love to go to the bar for $2 drinks but you simply just don't have the time.

3. Beauty goes out the window.

That extra hour of prepping in the morning goes to printing copies of your paper or reviewing those flashcards. Say goodbye to straightening your hair or applying makeup.

4. Sleep deprivation is a thing.

You become a little delirious and not sure what emotions you convey. You just want your bed but you know you must study.

5. Trying to avoid all social gatherings.

You want to stay in your room and study but your phone constantly gets blown up saying how there's a huge end of the semester party. So you go...

6. Trying to bargain for extra credit with a professor

Trying to be the teacher's pet last minute to bump that 65 average to a 70. Because after all C's get degrees.

7. Professors get real

Professor's tell it as it is. They pass out the study guide and send you on your way. Your grade is all on you.

8. Knowing Christmas break is around the corner

Just think Christmas break is literally right around the corner, if that's not motivation I don't know what is.

Good luck on finals everyone!

The Battle Between College And My Mental Health

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?

For the average 20-something, life moves pretty fast. You’ve got classes, friends, relationships, jobs, family, and whatever else we overcommit ourselves with. I probably should have learned to say no to adding more to my schedule a long time ago, but instead here are 11 things that can be more helpful than coffee.

Resting b***h face. Defined as a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to. Many of you suffer from this "condition." You are commonly asked what's wrong, when nothing is. What people don't know is that is just your facial expression. Here are some things they wish you knew.
