First, you realize finals week is around the corner and you should probably start studying.
It's time to buckle down and take those textbooks out of their plastic wrap. How did the quarter go by so fast?
But you're conflicted between studying and going out.
Deciding whether to spend ten hours in the library or dress up with your roommates for the themed house party is a serious struggle.
However, you realize studying is most important.
You may not want to accept it but it's true. Studying for finals is necessary to pass your classes.
So you decide to go to your professor's office hours for the first time all quarter.
And you get lost on the way to the office because you've never been there before.
And then you find out that the final is cumulative.
So somehow you have to learn ten week's worth of information in one.
You look at everything you still have to study.
The multitude of chapters and class lecture notes are slightly overwhelming.
So obviously the only option is to stress-eat.
You find yourself somehow consuming an entire bag of goldfish, spoonfuls of Nutella, and a pint of Ben & Jerry's all in one sitting.
You even spend all night studying but still can't remember anything the next morning.
You can't even seem to remember what time your final is at.
So you ask your professor to bump your grade up.
And you hope your begging will help him or her understand that you need this grade boost.
And you try to win him or her over.
You even consider baking cookies, crying, and stapling a twenty-dollar bill to your final.
...Because you feel you've run out of options.
You may start to believe there is little hope at this point.
Then you discover your professor didn't offer a study guide to help.
It's fine. You can totally figure out which questions are going to be asked out of the fifteen chapters you read for the course.
So caffeine becomes an essential part of your day.
You went from an herbal tea drinker to a quadruple espresso shot connoisseur in a matter of days.
When it's time for your final, you go in hoping for the best.
You and your fellow peers are in it together. May the odds be ever in your favor.
You take one look at the exam questions and have no idea what it's asking.
Good thing you spent all week studying for this.
But at the end of the week, you're overjoyed that it's finally over and even happier that all your hard work paid off.
The stress is finally over, and you made it through.
