You literally feel like you don't have enough time in the day

You contemplate when you will have time to do anything. You have 5 exams, 4 essays, 3 presentations, 2 books to read, and 1 week to do it all! Being in college tests your time management skills. You try to find ways to kill 5 birds with no stone and then you just end up loathing in self-pity while still putting off your assignments. Oh, the joys of college...

You're scared for your life, your future, your GPA, and your sanity.

When you have put so much work in all semester, you can't just quit like it was all for nothing. Fight to the finish. You do a quick review right before the final. You add a few sentences right before you submit. You change your design on your presentation before pulling it up. Cross the finish like, even if it means you have to crawl!

Be in charge of your stress.

Even when you know how much you have to do and how little of time you have to do it, take charge and let your stress know who's boss. Plan every minute out and do everything you can to stick to your schedule. Make yourself be in charge.

Even if things don't go your way, life goes on.

Everyone has an off day. You might not get the grade you want or pass the exam you needed to, but you keep going on because life doesn't stop. If you have to take the class again, do it! If you didn't make the best grade, make better ones next time to make up for it. Life doesn't stop for a C on an exam or a failed class, so you shouldn't either.

You can help yourself by helping others.

Studies show that you actually learn more from teaching someone else, so if you lead a study group, you are helping other and helping yourself. Save some lives!!!

Don't stress about things that are out of your control.

Do what you can to do your best and don't let outside things give your more stress. You can't control everything, so just be in control of what you can, and let your faith take care of the rest.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
