Finals Week. Never fear, you are not alone in the resentment, frustration, and exhaustion you're probably feeling right now. If anyone understands us, it's Gavin. A few months ago, I wrote an article that went low-key viral entitled "College Life As Told By Gavin Memes." I was quite overwhelmed by the extent to which college students seem to be able to relate to the child star. So, I was inspired to compile a brand new set of relatable Gavin memes pertaining to something all college kids around the country will be experiencing in the next few days:

1. When the year has been going by at a snail's pace and all of a sudden finals are next week

2. Sitting in crippling fear thinking about all the studying you have to do, but still not studying because it's too overwhelming and you wouldn't know where to start anyway

3. When someone tries to tell you they have *way* more work to do for finals than you. WE'RE ALL SUFFERING, OKAY.

4. Looking at your study guides and realizing they may as well be written in another language

5. When you're eight hours into studying and you start contemplating your existence and thinking that you'd be better off dropping out and joining the circus

6. How your barista looks at you when you order your sixth coffee of the day

7. Trying to preserve your personal space in the library like

8. Calling your mom every five minutes because adulting is hard and moms are supposed to be able to fix anything

9. When your final is cumulative and you have to relearn all the shit you did at the beginning of the semester

10. Looking at the people who don't obey the rules of the library's quiet zone like

11. Trying to keep it together every time someone asks you: "Ready for finals?"

12. When studying until 2 A.M. every night starts to catch up with you

13. Having an existential crisis while studying and realizing that whether you pass or fail you're still gonna die someday

14. What your notes from the semester look like

15. Trying to clean up the mess you made during the semester like

16. How you look going into your exam room

17. How you look once you get your exam in front of you

18. Wondering how much you'd have to bribe your professor to get an A

19. Walking out of your exam like

20. Straight chillin' the rest of the summer like

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Whether you're commuting or dorming, your first year of college is a huge adjustment. The transition from living with parents to being on my own was an experience I couldn't have even imagined- both a good and a bad thing. Here's a personal archive of a few of the things I learned after going away for the first time.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
