Finals As Told By Spongebob

Finals week is here which means the semester from hell is coming to a close..

But in order to leave, you have to do the unthinkable..

Yeah, that's right, FINALS..

First you make a list of everything you have to do..

Then you freak out because you know there's no way you have time to get any of that done..

But you pull yourself together because you realize you're not alone and you call all your friends to come study with you..

Then you just end up having a raging dance party..

Eventually you get down to work..

. . .

You give up and things start to get weird..

You've been up for so many days that you can't even sleep because you're shaking..

And then you cry..

But you pull yourself together and go to your exam because you've studied and you're confident you will do well..

But then you freak out as you wait for your exam to start..

And then, it begins..

But then it's over before you know it and you feel relieved..

Until you realize you have to do this all over again tomorrow..

And the next day..

And the day after that..

But then it's finally over (for real this time)..

And you can dance your way into your long awaited winter vacation..

See you next year..

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
