While August seems like it has been gone for five minutes, it has actually been 3 months. It now seems like it has gone by extremely fast but each day has been an eternity. Finals week is now actually beginning. Finals week is full of tests which result in stress, crying, and eating way more than probably is considered socially acceptable. Here are some tips:

1) That professor that is making your life hell is almost out of your life.

2) Get sleep.

3) Late night runs to Andy's Custard are okay.

4) Late night runs to Taco Bell, Huddle House, and Sonic are also fine- along with any other food places.

5) Don't fight it, just cry.

6) Talk to other people- we are all in the same boat here.

7) A whole month off after its over.

8) Sweatpants are completely acceptable at all times.

9) Play doh shoved into a balloon makes a wonderful stress ball.

Though the week seems never ending, it will all be over soon enough. You will be at home cuddling with your pets, eating delicious foods and napping whenever you want. Just look at the light at the end of the tunnel. Keep in mind you are not alone and we will all get through this.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."
