Finals have arrived. The most stressful, time consuming, terrifying time of the year. From all-nighters in the library to trying to remember the equations you learned three months ago, there's nothing fun about it until that last exam is handed in. But when in doubt, act as a minion would, because these little yellow, banana loving, creatures understand the struggle you're going through.
When the professor says it's a cumulative final. Because there's nothing worse than trying to remember an entire semester worth of information that you thought you could forget after each midterm.
When no one in the class knows what's going on. You don't even have a friend to ask for help on the practice problem because no one else understands it. At least then you can hope for a curve.
When you're too scared to leave the library because it took you so long to find a seat. You know you'll never find another desk with a chair and an outlet so you might as well stay here until your next final. You've already set up all your notebooks, computer, and notecards there anyways.
When you walk into your first final feeling confident. You studied hard, you know what you're doing, so it can't be that bad.. right?
When you see the first question on the exam. Nope, you definitely never learned this. Only 49 questions to go, hopefully you're a good guesser.
When your friend is already done with finals. She only took one and it was on the first day. You get to watch her pack to go home as you spend the next week with your face buried in textbooks.
When you don't even know what you don't know. You can't even figure out what you're confused about because it's all that confusing. Better go back to chapter 1.
When someone asks if you're ready for the exam. Is there even such thing as ready for a final? Do they understand that you have four exams, an essay, and a project all due within the next week and you're supposed to be READY for any of them?!
When you walk out of a really hard final. And then start questioning if you'll pass the class, graduate college, and ever get a job. You probably also call your mom so she can tell you that it's going to be ok.
When you hand in your last final. Even if you failed, at least it's over. Time for winter break and no school!
Good luck on finals!
