Finals Week Before Winter Break

These are not tears. They are sweats from my eyes.

A brief timeline of the dreaded time from thanksgiving break and winter break, and the finals in between:

1. When you come back from Thanksgiving break and face the consequences of your long overdue procrastination while eating good food at home

2. When your professor assigns a paper due the Monday you get back from Thanksgiving break

3. When you have three papers and two exams and a group project all due on the same day

4. When you and your friends try to motivate each other, but the reality hits

5. When you just want to give up

5. When you console yourself that you can do this

6. But then you realize

7. But that doesn't change the fact that you have every will to go out and get drunk

"I will treat myself"

8. The next morning you are way too hungover

9. And you have become the master of procrastination

10. When you haven't had enough time to study, but you gotta take the exam anyway

11. You come out of your exam like

12. At least you finished it!

And now it's finally time for a well-deserved winter break!

You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
