1. Caffeine.

How else are you going to make it through all the time you are studying since you are already heavily lacking in sleep?

2. Tissues for your tears (or illness).

It is perfectly normal to have a breakdown with all the stress of the week, so you might as well be prepared. And if you don't have a mental breakdown, then you are probably already sick like everyone else during finals.

3. Lots and lots of post its.

For all the things that you still have to do since you have procrastinated until the very last minute.

4. More Caffeine.

Already had two coffees and a soda? How about some Yerba Mate?

5. A ride home from the library when you are too lazy and/or tired to walk.

Worse than a walk of shame...walking home in (relatively) cold temperatures lugging your weight in textbooks.

6. Advil.

For the headaches you are bound to experience.

7. A blanket or Snuggie to keep you some what comfortable while you are sitting in a chair for hours on end in the library.

8. Portable chargers.

They are very useful for when you can't find a spot with an outlet.

9. Spotify Premium.

Because ads literally kill the studying flow.

10. HEADPHONES!

Whoever said diamonds are a girl's best friend was wrong. There is nothing like trying to study with obnoxious eaters or loud gossipers next to you.

11. Highlighters.

Because, for some reason, colors make your notes look much more interesting and enjoyable.

12. Easily eatable food that doesn't smell awful and is not insanely loud to eat.

13. Sleep (at least to some extent)

It is super important to get at least a few hours of sleep during finals otherwise you won't retain as much information as you could.

14. Motivation

Know what you are working towards because otherwise you are not going to want to do anything but watch Netflix, go out, or sleep; thereby procrastinating or not fully committing to what you are doing.

The Battle Between College And My Mental Health

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?

For the average 20-something, life moves pretty fast. You’ve got classes, friends, relationships, jobs, family, and whatever else we overcommit ourselves with. I probably should have learned to say no to adding more to my schedule a long time ago, but instead here are 11 things that can be more helpful than coffee.

Resting b***h face. Defined as a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to. Many of you suffer from this "condition." You are commonly asked what's wrong, when nothing is. What people don't know is that is just your facial expression. Here are some things they wish you knew.
