Life As A Last-Semester Senior, As Told By 'High School Musical'

This second half of the second semester is going to fly by. Seniors, our time is coming to an end and I know we all have very conflicting feelings about it. Here are some High School Musical gifs to help us decipher our life for the next month and a half.

Senioritis is a real thing and it's starting to happen.

Let the slacking begin.

It is okay to go out more than you did as a freshman and have fun.

(Except now you're a little more responsible so there are more memories being made and less forgotten nights)

Someone mentions graduation and you start to be like

And you start thinking about your future.

Interviews and job opportunities and new apartment options and moving away and just...

Stress level:this

But then you remember thesis is due soon and you need to focus enough to get through it.

Maybe some more alcohol is necessary to help get you through these last few weeks.

You finally start to come to terms with moving on and becoming more of an adult

Bring it on future me.

The warmer weather starts and graduation approaches.

And the hardest part of everything are the goodbyes that have to happen.

Love my friends sooooooooo much!

Graduation is finally here and you are totally ready for it.

Well, maybe not totally, but you have no choice now.

But you know there will always be a special place in your heart for your school.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
