The Final Countdown

Oh gosh, I'm actually graduating college in four months.

The Final Countdown

So I graduate from Missouri State in four months. WHAT.

Here's a list of the final things I have to do as a bear, just one last time.

1. Go to Boogie.

Okay, hear me out on this one. A couple of years ago I would go to boogie with friends and spend all of my time chasing after my blacked out roommate. So I never really got to enjoy it. I want to go once to the reopening just to say I have been.

2. Go to a tailgate. (And watch Pride Band Perform.)

Missouri State tailgates are quite the celebration before any football game. In years past, people make it to the tailgate and then take a nap wherever they end up. (Aparments, friends' houses, etc.) They always have a tendency to forget about the Pride Band. They are truly one of the biggest gems that the college has to offer, alongside Boomer the Bear. I need to do my best to catch a tailgate, halftime show, and a fifth quarter concert.

3. Get one more picture with the man himself, Clif Smart.

The president Clif Smart has become one of the biggest icons and trademarks of Missouri State University. To end my last year of college with a picture with the man himself would be perfect. Considering I have taken two with him in the past.

He's also just the coolest president, EVER.

4. Remind my little I'm proud of her.

My sorority little is one of the most intelligent individuals I have ever met. She goes above and beyond for everyone she knows, she is kind as can be, and she is so strong. Although I'm graduating I am going to do my best to remind her that I am always a text or call away when she needs me.

Also that big is still always there for the good times and the bad. To trust her parents and to even trust me sometimes.

5. Keep calm and just do it.

Although this semester is gonna be hard, I have a new routine I have developed. It is much healthier. I need to keep calm and just push on to the finish. It is so close.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."
