We all know that period of time at the end of the semester where we're desperately scrambling about, working as hard as we can to finish our classes strong.

Here are some stages we all go through told by our favorite fictional characters from Grey's Anatomy...

1. Sitting in class listening to your professor explain upcoming assignments/exams.

2. Trying to maintain a positive attitude, but you can't help but overreact when someone causes you the slightest inconvenience.

3. When the professor put something on the final that he PROMISED would NOT be on it.

4.When you go running to your professor's office for extra credit.

5.And all your exams are on the same day.

6.You're pretty much always on the verge of a mental breakdown.

7.When you get that e-mail saying you need to register for Spring Semester.

8.And you have all sorts of decisions to make about your future classes.

9.When your parents get tired of you calling them about EVERY little inconvenience in your life.

10.Sitting down to work on assignments.

11.When you check your grades and they aren't as terrible as you thought.

12.When your friend suggests going out but you're just done with everything.

13.When you're just trying to go to class and there are tour groups everywhere and you're just like...

14.Every time you skip class.

15.Trying to apply for jobs like.

16.Studying and realizing you know nothing.

17.But all you want to do is snuggle up and watch Christmas movies.

18.Then when the end of the semester is over, you can FINALLY enjoy yourself.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
