As the temperature continues to drop low and the heaters are all on a all time high, there is only one thing keeping us music lovers warm this winter: festival season! Yes, the most wonderful time of the year might be a few months (and snowstorms) away but there is nothing more heart-warming than daydreaming, planning and anxiously waiting for the best time of the year.

Luckily, our favorite festivals seem to think the same way; and many of our beloved events already started releasing dates and initial line-ups so we can distract ourselves from the weather outside and start dreaming about the golden days to come. As we all patiently wait to leave for our favorite getaways, The Odyssey did the dirty work for you and made a guide with the best music festivals that released their information so far. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.
