When most women hear the name, “Donald Trump,” they immediatley cringe. They think of how much of a pervert, or sexist man he is. Yes, he might of done and said some nasty things about women, but that doesn’t make Clinton a saint. As a feminist, I believe in equal rights between man and woman. Thinking about this election, I think about my country; not my gender. Especially when she supports her husband who cheated on her by raping many women. Clinton even silenced those women. Clinton even got away with federal offenses, rather it was because she was a woman, or is a government official, she should’ve been punished.

  1. I’m Thinking Of My Country, Not My Gender.

Being a feminist is not about believing one gender is better than the other. It’s about believing both genders are equal, and should have equal rights. When it comes to Clinton, I wouldn’t ever support her just because she is a woman. Yes, one day I think it would be lovely to have a female president. In no way do I want that woman to be Clinton. She does not set a good example for other women. I would be very ashamed to say that I look up to Clinton, because of the many nasty things she’s done.

2. I Would Never Support Someone Who Supports Their Husband, Who is a rapist.

Hillary Clinton has been married to former president, Bill Clinton, for many years. Within those years, Bill Clinton raped many women. Hillary has stayed with her husband through all those rape cases. She never thought once about those women. If she did, she would’ve left Bill. No true feminist would EVER support someone who supports a man who raped and emotional hurt women. I believe Hillary is still married to Bill because he was a former president. Being a senator, that would make her look good. Also, running for president, that would also give her loads of attention. It also most likely gives her the votes and motivation of the people who voted for her husband

3. Her Husband Cheated On Her, And She Is Still Married To Him.

Just because Bill is a man, doesn’t mean Clinton should bow down to him; or stay with him. I’m ashamed, woman to woman, that she let a man take advantage of her like that. That does not show feminism. Hillary is supposed to set an example for women. Letting a man walk all over her like that because their married is no excuse. Staying with Bill, Clinton gets many advantages, like attention. She uses Bill, just because of what he’s been to our country, a male leader. That is not a true act of feminism.

4. She Silenced Rape Victims, And Has Freed Rape Victims.

Hillary has silenced some of Bill’s rape victims. She has accused them of lying, or being insane. When the scandal happened with Monica Lewinsky, Hillary’s reaction was bashing Lewinsky, instead of her husband. Hillary called her names, and blamed the scandal on Lewinsky. Hilary also stood up for a rapist of a little twelve year old girl. She blamed the raping on the girl, claiming it was her fault. Hillary claimed the young girl had a ‘thing’ for older men. Rape is rape. It’s never the victim’s fault. Hillary shouldn’t have fought for that man, just because he is a man.

5. She Got Away With The FBI.

Rather it was because she was a woman, or was she’s a government official, Hillary committed a federal crime, and got away with it. This scandal should’ve gotten taken care in a proper way and not brushed off. I feel as if a man said those vulgar things in e-mails, he would’ve gotten in some sort of trouble. In this time, a lot of men don’t get away with things too easily, just because their men, and they’re linked to trouble. Most women are linked to pure and innocence. I don’t believe that. I believe it’s all about their personal self. She shouldn’t get away with this, regardless of any of those excuses.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Blair Waldorf
Stop Hollywood

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended. Blair never needed another person to define who she was and she certainly didn’t need a man to do that for her. When she envisioned a goal, she sought after it, and took it. This is why Blair’s demeanor encompasses strong women like her.
