Why Feminist Are Losing Their Femininity

Go run the world but don't forget you are still worthy of one thing.

It's 2016 and I am all for women wanting to have a say in society but there is ONE thing I am NOT OKAY WITH.

As time passes, I have realized that more women are wanting to be control and take action. Women have completely dozed over politics and I am okay with the empowerment that we can bring. Don't get me wrong! Go run for president (that is if you Tomi Lahren) but do NOT forget your role as a woman.

You are probably thinking where is this ignorant chick headed, and I am about to tell you.

Female politicians and speakers are not the issue! The issue is women are wanting to be men. Yeah, I said it, But before you throw a fit let me clarify.

Women are on the pursuit to find love and society is doing everything they can to enable it.

I am a single lady and I know it is not easy being alone. There are times where I question if I should chase after a man. Then I come to my senses. I let my emotions get the best of me. No, I should not chase after a guy. I'm going to wait until he chases after me. I mean, we have all watched Cinderella.

Dating has become a game where anyone can play. If a guy likes a girl and approaches her, cool. If a girl likes a guy and wants to approach him, cool.

But when did the roles shift? When did society become so accepting to the idea of women asking men on dates and even hands in marriages?

I am not okay with this.

I know there are some situations where life happens, but for society to revolve around feminism and equality is stupid.

Dating sites like Bumble were created where women get to be in control. Being allowed a handful of images of local men to chose from and you both match, the FEMALE has to MAKE THE FIRST MOVE. Only having 24 hours to decide if she wants to engage with this man.

Hello, but a few years ago this wasn't ok. My dad would have been so disappointed if he knew his little girl was acting this way. My dad did not simply wait for my mom to whisk him away to fall in love. You know what he did? He chose to be a MAN and do it himself.

Ladies, don't let your loneliness be an excuse for you to find a relationship yourself.

How about you wait. I know it sucks... because I am currently waiting and have been for several years. Am I tired of waiting? Hell yeah! Do I let that be an excuse to find love for myself? Hell no.

Just because it is 2016 doesn't mean you have to settle. Settling is when you decide God's plan is lesser than yours. Think about it ladies, God created you out of a man not the other way around.

Go ahead and change the world, I am right there with you. One day, I pray I can be a female role model for the younger generation. I am just so sick and tired of women forgetting that finding love doesn't have to be your job and it shouldn't have to be.

If you're interested in a man, hope he is one. Maybe just maybe, he will PURSUE you. Keep your head held high and know that you don't have to do all the work. You're so much more worthy of that.

Let's take the Men out of Women and be LADIES Y'all.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
