I'm A Female Supporter of Trump

I'm A Female Supporter of Trump

I'm ready to hear the argument, "He's never been involved in politics, and Hillary has," or "Have you heard some of the things he's said before? I don't want my kids to have a man that have said those words in the White House" or that "Trump's behavior is being dismissed as locker room talk, which is why there are men like Brock Turner" OR (my favorite), "It's time this country has a woman President, so I'm voting for Hillary". And I have arguments for all four of those ridiculous opinions, and more.

Hillary Clinton keeps shooting the, "Release your tax returns!" at Donald, but does anyone else remember or realize that she refused to release hers after her $5,000 investment quickly turned into $490,000 (Cattlegate)? Of course not, that was so long ago, right? Well so was everything that people are holding against Trump, so where's the fairness in that?

For the argument about Trump never have been involved in politics, while Hillary "has", let me ask you this, in all of Hillary's time being "involved", what has she done? Seriously, what has she done that has helped this country? Other than the times when her husband appointed her to be in charge of many different tasks which ended up costing the tax payers millions of dollars on multiple occasions.

And then you say, "have you heard what has come out of that man's mouth? Why would I want that man to preside over this country as a role model for my children?" Okay, I have an answer for that too. Yes, I've heard what he has said in that tape, and also the other things. BUT, in contrast to what Trump SAID, Hillary set a child's rapist free knowing that he was guilty of the crime. So would you rather have Trump's man talk, or would you rather have the woman that "supports women's rights" but let that rapist walk the Earth alongside that little girl? Pick your poison.

Random question: Does nobody have knowledge on Watergate? Or Benghazi?

"It's time this country has a woman President, so I'm voting for Hillary", are you serious? I am a woman, and I fully-support women's equal rights, but are you serious? You are going to vote for this woman just because of the simple fact that she is a woman? Please, do some research and know what this woman has done, and what she stands for, PLEASE.

After all of the scandals and investigations, do you still think Hillary is the better option of the two? If you said yes, then is that because of the words Trump has said? Answer me this, do you think the woman who wants it to be legal to abort a 36-week pregnancy has the moral high?

I hope you all take Hillary's past into more consideration when you cast your vote.

Thank you.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
