Whether you watched when it first aired or you caught up before the revival, we can all agree we were excited for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Some of us were disappointed with the ending of season 7. We had hope for closure with the revival. Even with the debate on if the last four words gave closure or not, we all felt this way while watching and after:
Preparation
It's not a proper viewing party if the essential food groups aren't involved.
No distractions.
Some of us waited 9 years for this, there will be no interruptions.
Pressing play and hearing the familiar lines.
You can't help but feel nostalgic and excited for what's to come.
How much Zach has aged.
I know it's been nine years, but dang!
Seeing Logan shirtless.
Always a good treat.
Then finding out about Logan's love life
I didn't see that coming.
Any mention of Richard's absence.
It's sad, I know.
Watching Kirk's short film.
Never a dull moment with Kirk.
Seeing Mr. Kim!
It only took 16 years to meet the man!
Dean "possibly" being the one.
We've been down this road before, no thanks.
It started out weird and only got more weird.
When Jess didn't tell his true feelings.
Liar!
Then realizing the amount of time Jess was actually on screen.
I had such high hopes for him and that's all we got.
The last four words.
Who? Where? When? and Why?
When you realize that was the end.
And there isn't a concrete decision on whether or not there will be more yet
Finding others who felt your outrage.
That's how we are going to leave it?
Left with more questions.
Full circle or not, I need more.
