The countdown is on, T-however many days until spring break, but until then it's crunch time. You have about ten assignments due each day along with a 3000 word paper due by the end of the week. Your feelings are all over the place. How many days until we're out of here?

1. The feeling of excitement.

You realize that spring break is just around the corner, you just have to get through this last week push. The only thought in your mind is how you'll either be home, back in the cold for some or laying on the beach for others.

2. The feeling of forgetfulness.

Since the only thought you have is how you will be relaxing all day every day for the next week, you forget about the twenty assignments you have due. Better luck next semester!

3. The feeling of no motivation.

This is the feeling you get when you have so much to do in so little time. You figure that doing none of your work is better than deciding which if any work to do at all.

4. The feeling of "Is it Friday yet?"

On Tuesday, you feel like it's Thursday until you realize it's only Tuesday. Is it Friday yet?

5. The "I'm exhausted" feeling.

Why are we so tired ALL the time? As we are 3/4 of the way done with the school year, tiredness is a personality trait at this point.

6. The "finally" feeling.

FINALLY. Spring break is here and it's time to relax... until we're back in a week, and then it starts all over again. Enjoy...

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
